The staff was great. Very informative about the area and things to do. After reading reviews was worried about the room. It was fantastic for an older motel. The water pressure was GREAT, the room was clean and smelled fresh. The beds were very comfortable.

The rooms were straight out of the 70’s, and the furnishings were well worn, however the price was right, the staff kind, and everything was very clean. I have no complaints.

Enjoyed our stay in this cute vintage castle shaped hotel. The facilities are clean and well maintained for an older property. Great water pressure in the shower! I have no complaints and felt the room was above average for the age.

I stay here every time I am in Amarillo. I love the layout of the rooms and the second door. Parking is always easy and the beds are clean and soft. Internet is always good.

Good for a one night stay, close to express way and bed was super comfy. The room was just as expected as listed online, sure it was outdated but the price was great. Staff were very friendly and I was comfortable staying there.

Is this place old? Yes. Some peeling wall paper? Yes. Common areas smell like cigarettes? Yes. But the room itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff was prompt and polite. What more could you want from a cheap place to lay your head during your road trip down I-40, except for it to look like a castle?
